I am currently in my first year of phD (CIFRE funding) supervised by Andromede Océanologie and the ISEM and TETIS labs in Montpellier. I focus my research on the use of photogrammetry for the study and monitoring of coastal marine habitats. This technique allows to freeze the structure of a habitat in 3D at a given time from 2D pictures, and extract a bunch of indicators, from the simplest (lengths/ volumes) to the most sophisticated (complexity indicators, 3D shape recognition,…). The comparison of these indicators in time and space will allow accurately monitoring the most sensitive habitats.
