In France, brown trout (Salmo trutta) is a species of major socio-economically concern. Every years there is supplementation of domestic brown trout in order to increase populations for recreational angling.
Domestic brown trout have low fitness in wild, but they are perfectly able to reproduce with wild brown trout.
The aim of my studies is to understand the impact of this supplementation on wild population.
By using population genomics I want to answer the question: What is the rate of introgression of domestics alleles in wild populations ?
