I am working on my PhD in aestheticism and biodiversity of mediterranean seabed. I study the relationship between diversity, uses and aesthetics of underwater landscapes. I am particularly interested to coralligenous reefs, Mediterranean-key ecosystems. The main objectives are: - Characterising the ecological parameters of reef landscapes coralligenous in terms of species richness, scalable and functional - Studying the perception of the aesthetics of these sites by various users: divers, underwater hikers, commercial and recreational fishermen, scientists and ecologists. - Studying the links between ecological and aesthetic parameters - Communicate the results to decision makers, managers and citizens. This thesis is directed by Nicolas Mouquet (CNRS), co-directed by Julie Deter (CNRS - UM2) and funded by the Fondation de France.
