My works concerns the study of male homosexual preference in Humans. Homosexual preference has long been considered as a Darwinian Puzzle. Since few decades, biology, especially evolutionary biology have shed a new light on the understanding of this preference. No other wild species are known to display this preference, thus male homosexual preference appears as a human specificity, which is currently unexplained. We aim at develop and test new hypothesis taking into account some specific features of human societies (such as social stratification and hypergyny) to better understand the evolution of male homosexual preference in humans.
