I’m interested in the molecular level of biological evolution. To this end, I use bioinformatic tools to discover footprints of organism’s life history events in their genomic sequences. My project here, in collaboration with Carole Smadja and Pierre Boursot, is to study genetic divergence among two European mice subspecies (Mus musculus musculus and Mus musculus domesticus) and more specifically the basis of sexual selection acting in the hybrid zone where those two populations meet. I’m financed by the french ANR ‘ASSORTMATE’ (2010-2014, coordination : G. Ganem, France).
