Mon thème de recherche concerne les conditions d’évolution et de la mise en place de la diversité végétale sur le pourtour Méditerranéen et en Europe afin de connaître la part respective de l’influence des changements du climat, des taux de CO2, de la tectonique et de l’action anthropique. Dans ce cadre, mon activité de recherche principale porte sur les reconstitutions de la végétation, la quantification du climat et sur l’estimation des paléoaltitudes du Néogène en région Méditerranéenne et en Europe d’après les données polliniques.
