Molecular biologist with a strong experience in molecular physiology and microbial diagnosis, I currently lead the team called DIVA (Fish Diversity and Aquaculture). My research focuses on two complementary aspects of aquaculture: the adaptive responses of farmed fish to changing environments and the detection and characterization of some of their pathogens. I worked for a biotechnology company where I participated in the design and validation of innovative solutions for genomic and diagnostic applications. Attracted by new technologies, I dedicate part of my research activities to the development of methods to improve the detection, identification and characterization of microorganisms.
