My research work focuses on the history of agriculture and the exploitation of vegetal resources in the North-Western Mediterranean, since the last hunter-gatherers, based on the study of archaeological macroremains. My work is carried out along two main research axes:

– Dynamics of agro-pastoral systems in southern France, in relation with environmental, economic and cultural changes

– Origin and evolution of vine cultivation: grapevine domestication, diversity characterisation of archaeological cultivated vines

I also supervise the archaeobotanical platform at ISEM and participate as a teacher in the Master ‘Cépage’ (University Montpellier)
