I am working on my PhD in aestheticism and biodiversity of mediterranean seabed. I study the relationship between diversity, uses and aesthetics of underwater landscapes. I am particularly interested to coralligenous reefs, Mediterranean-key ecosystems.
The main objectives are:
– Characterising the ecological parameters of reef landscapes coralligenous in terms of species richness, scalable and functional
– Studying the perception of the aesthetics of these sites by various users: divers, underwater hikers, commercial and recreational fishermen, scientists and ecologists.
– Studying the links between ecological and aesthetic parameters
– Communicate the results to decision makers, managers and citizens.
