My research activities focus on the adaptation of insect vectors to environmental changes and the impact of these adaptations on the transmission of vector-borne diseases. During my Ph.D. at ISEM, I studied the evolution of resistance to insecticides in mosquitoes. As a postdoc researcher in Burkina Faso with IRD, I investigated the influence of insecticide resistance alleles on the interactions between vector and parasite, and how insecticidal pressures affect malaria transmission. During my second postdoc at Colorado State University (USA), I was in charge of the evaluation of a new integrated strategy for the control of several infectious diseases in West Africa. Currently, I continue my research on the impact of adaptations in vectorial systems by studying the influence of symbiotic interactions on the transmission of arboviruses.
