My research interests include:

  • the evolution of parental investment, the life-history consequences of competitive and cooperative interactions among siblings, and how sexual selection shapes the evolution of cooperation in humans,
  • genetic and behavioural local adaptations to risky environments, particularly in populations facing volcanic risk,
  • the medicalization of birth, and more specifically the long term effects of synthetic oxytocin administration during labour.

I teach evolutionary biology and medicine in several master’s programs in France. I am also a 5th year student at the Medical School of Montpellier.
